How To Enter The FreeTrade £5,000 Stock Giveaway

To enter, you just need to sign up to FreeTrade via my referral link and open a free General Investment Account between 19th July and 1st of August 2021 at 23:59. Once you’ve passed onboarding checks, you’ll then need to deposit £1 (which you can later withdraw) and complete the W-8BEN form (to declare you’re not a US tax resident) by the 6th of August.

In addition to the giveaway entry, you’ll also get one guaranteed free share worth between £3 and £200.

You can earn additional free shares and additional giveaway entries by referring other customers to FreeTrade. Full disclosure, we’ll both earn one entry and one free share when you sign up.

When Will The Stock Bundle Winner Be Announced?

The winner will be revealed during the week beginning 9th of August 2021.

If you’re the lucky winner, you’ll be contacted via email and an in-app message and you’ll then have until Thursday the 12th to reply.

If you win and then don’t reply by Thursday the 12th, FreeTrade reserves the right to select another winner. So keep an eye on your emails and make sure your FreeTrade app notifications are turned on.

When Will You Get Your Free Guaranteed Share?

Once your account is open, your guaranteed free share will be awarded to your General Investment Account (GIA) within 14 days. 

To be eligible for a free US share (instead of UK only), you need to make sure you’ve completed your W-8BEN form (which basically just lets FreeTrade know you don’t pay tax in the USA). But you’ll need to do that anyway to enter the £5,000 stock bundle giveaway.
