EXPIRED - Get Double LEGO VIP Points in October 2020

If you’re a Lego fan and you want to get a head start on your Christmas shopping, October’s not a bad time to buy. Lego are offering double VIP points on all purchases made on Lego.com or in-store between October 8th and October 20th, 2020 (inclusive).

To access the deal, just make sure you’ve signed up to Lego VIP. It’s free so there’s no reason not to.

You normally earn 8 VIP points per £1 spent so, between October 8th and October 20th you’ll earn 16 VIP points per £1 spent.

What’s The Monetary Value of Double VIP Points?

With the double VIP point offer, you’re earning 16 points/£1 spent. That means, if you spend £100, you’ll earn 1600 VIP points. 1600 points is worth between £10 and £19.20 (since 1 VIP point is worth 0.625p - 1.2p per point) depending on your redemption (Check out my guide to optimising your Lego VIP points).

So, double VIP points equate to a 10% - 19.2% return on spend. That’s definitely a good saving to make with Christmas around the corner.

If you spent £100 without the double points offer, you’d earn 800 VIP points (8 points/£1 spent). 800 points is worth between £5 and £9.60 (again, depending on your redemption)
