How To Register For Subway Rewards
To register, you’ll need to download the Subway app. If you used the old Subway Rewards app, you’ll need to download the new one (you can use still use you old login).
Can You Add Your Subway Card To Your Smartphone Wallet?
Yes, Subway cards can be added to your Smartphone wallet (eg. Apple Wallet). To add your card:
Subway App Home > Scan in Restaurant > Add to Wallet

Subway Rewards is now app-only so there’s no physical Subway Rewards card.
How To Earn Subway Points & Membership Levels
You earn Subway points on in-person, app and online orders. Just order online/in-app or scan your Subway Rewards QR code at the till. You can find the code on the app home screen or in your smartphone wallet.
There are 3 Subway Rewards tiers:
Rising Star - £0 Min. Spend = Earn 10 Points/£1 + Free Birthday Cookie
Hot Shot - Hit £150 Spend in 1 Calendar Year = Earn 11 Points/£1 + Free Birthday Cookie/Crisps
The Boss - Hit £350 Spent in 1 Calendar Year = Earn 12 Points/£1 + Free Birthday 6-Inch Sub + Surprise Treat
Once you reach a higher level, you’ll retain that status until the end of the year plus the next year. To retain status after that, you need to hit the qualifying spend in that year.
Can You Claim Subway Points From A Receipt
Yes, you have 30 days to submit a missing points request on the app and you’ll need details from the receipt. Once requested, it can take up to 24 hours for the points to be added.
On the app, go to Rewards > History > Submit a missing points request
You’ll then need to enter the Store Number, Transaction Date, Terminal ID, Transaction Number and Total Amount. All that info’s on the receipt.
Redeeming Subway Points
To redeem your Subway points, go to the app home tab, hit Scan in Restaurant and then select how much Subway Cash you’d like to redeem.
You can also redeem Subway Cash on mobile orders. In the app, at check-out, select ‘Redeem Your Points’ and then select the amount you’d like to use.
Every 150 Subway Points = £1 Subway Cash
You can use up to £40 Subway Cash per order.
Can You Transfer Subway Points?
You can’t transfer Subway Points or Subway Cash from one account or card to another. That means you can’t merge points if you have 2 cards and family/friends can’t transfer points between each other.
Does Subway Give You A Free Treat On Your Birthday?
Yes, you do get a birthday treat and the treat depends on your membership level. Make sure you add your birthday to the app or you won’t get the treat.
Rising Star - Free Cookie of your choice
Hot Shot - Free Crisps/Cookie of your choice
The Boss - Free 6-Inch Sub of your choice
Birthday treats are valid for 30 days. Redeem them via the app then scan your QR code in-store or add it to your mobile order.
Do Subway Points Expire?
Your Subway Points will reset to 0 if you don’t make a purchase in 6 months.
You can check when your last purchase was on the Subway app. Go to Rewards then History.
