What Are The Morrison More Club Benefits?
Morrisons offer 5 Clubs. NHS Club, Teachers Club, Baby Club, Christmas Savers and Student Club. I’ll go into each one in detail.
Morrisons NHS Club
You can join the NHS Club is you’ve got a valid NHS email address. This gets you 10% Off in-store only, discount vouchers and free products. Even if you’re not a member, you can still get the 10% discount at the till if you show your NHS photo ID.
Morrisons Teachers Club
You can join the Teachers Club if you’re a nurse, school or college employee. You just need a valid nursery, school or college email to register and you’ll get teacher-only offers, money-off vouchers and treats every now and then.
Morrisons Baby Club
Baby Club gets you offers on baby products, freebies and treats. There are no requirements for joining Baby Club.
Morrisons Christmas Saver Vouchers
Throughout the year you can purchase Christmas Savers Stamps when in-store. Any stamps bought between January 1st and October 31st will be converted into vouchers which you can use between November 6th and December 31st of that year. You’ll get a bonus depending on the amount of stamps purchased:
Bought £49 - £96 Stamps = £1 Bonus
Bought £97 - £148 Stamps = £3 Bonus
Bought £149 - £196 Stamps = £4 Bonus
Bought £197 Stamps = £6 Bonus (Maximum)
With interest rates at rock-bottom, Christmas Stamps aren’t a bad idea. If you’re efficient with your Stamp purchasing and you buy either £97 or £197 of stamps, you’re basically getting the equivalent of 3% interest.
However, Stamps and Christmas Saver Voucher balances aren’t FSCS protected. If Morrisons runs into trouble, you could lose the entire value of the Stamps/Voucher. If you’re going to buy Stamps, I’d suggest buying on or just before October 31st to minimise your risk. There’s no point in buying Stamps before that anyway as you’ll get the equivalent bonus whether bought on January 1st or October 31st.
Morrisons Student Club
Morrisons don’t offer an ongoing student discount. However, you can join Student Club as long as you have an ‘ac.uk’ email address. This gets you access to student-only offers on specific products.
Is Morrisons More Worth It?
As with any loyalty scheme, if you earn one benefit, I’d say join it. In the case of Morrisons More, you earn points automatically on specific products and fuel, redeemable for £5 vouchers. You unlock exclusive pricing, get access to personal offers and Basket Bonus offers.
I think this is an upgrade on the previous ‘My Morrisons’ scheme and it’s better than the old Morrisons More scheme as it’s likely to save you more money overall.
